The KDS can be seen in both Activate and on the KDS app; however, the KDS view in Activate has limited functionality.
If there are any pending orders going to a KDS, a small red number will appear at the top of the icon. If there are no pending orders, the hour glass will appear with no red number.
Once the Hourglass icon is selected, the KDS view will display an overview of the orders that have been sent to the KDS and their status. An employee can search for a specific order, check or change order statuses, switch to a different date, or print out orders.
Note: To get back to the Activate main menu from the KDS view, click the white 'X' in the upper left corner.
